Journey through the spiritual and cultural heart of the Balkans on this grace-filled Marian pilgrimage. Begin in Slovenia, visiting the national Marian shrine of Brezje, praying at the Basilica of St. Mary Help of Christians, and enjoying the serene beauty of Lake Bled. In Ljubljana, walk through Roman Emona, the Triple Bridge, St. Nicholas Cathedral, and celebrate Mass at the Ursuline Church of the Holy Trinity.
Continue into Croatia, exploring Zagreb’s historic cathedral and St. Mark’s Church, then encounter the breathtaking natural wonder of Plitvice Lakes National Park (UNESCO) with cascading lakes and forested walkways. Travel south to Zadar, venerating the relics of St. Simeon, and onward to Split, where faith and Roman history meet at the Cathedral and ancient city gates.
At the heart of the pilgrimage lies Medjugorje, where Our Lady, Queen of Peace, has been appearing since 1981. Spend four prayer-filled days climbing Apparition Hill, praying the Stations of the Cross at Krizevac, attending parish liturgies at St. James Church, and spending time in Adoration and quiet reflection. Visit Mostar’s Old Bridge, the peaceful Studenci Waterfalls, and conclude in Sarajevo, weaving together prayer, history, and culture in one of Europe’s most symbolic cities.
Daily Mass, Rosary, Scripture, and ample time for personal prayer make this journey a profound encounter with Mary’s call to peace, conversion, and faith.
